It
was an astonishing moment for me when i met MR. PRABHU
DEVA. I knew I was destined to meet him but I was
not sure that it would be so early and so sudden.
In 1998, my challenge to Prahu Deva made news in the
newspapers and T.V but now after 7 years of that incidence
it's amazing to see him right in front of my eyes.
It was while shooting for a T.V show "KABOOM",
I came to know that the judge for the show are PRABHU
DEVA and JAVED BHAI ( Javed Jaffery ). I got so much
excited after knowing that. I've met Javed Bhai earlier
twice while "BOOGIE-WOOGIE" and "DANCE
DANCE" but it was special to meet Prabhu Deva
in "KABOOM". I was anxious and curious to
know that what these famous dance personalities have
to say about my performance.
It was a fabulous experience when Javed Bhai told
Prabhu Deva that this boy i.e me, had challenged him(Prabhu
Deva). After listening this Prabhu Deva was a bit
surprised and then Ravi Behl, Naved Jaffery and the
whole audience sitting there started shouting and
cheering. After witnessing my performance, Prabhu
Deva complimented that my dance is a bit difficult.
He said, my performance was attractive and the steps
were very difficult and not easy to catch hence everybody
cannot do it. Those words by him are very special
to me and i'll always tresure them throughout my life.
Javed Bhai appreciated my acrobats. As now i've met
these great personalities, they've become more respectable
to me. For me, Javed Bhai is like a TEMPLE and Prabhu
Deva is GOD. I don't have words to exprees that how
nicely they treated us. I wish one day i'll get a
chance to work with them.
I felt so happy when I saw TANUSHREE DATTA, Miss India
2004 who was the Star Judge in the show. My happiness
doubled when she complimented me "Deepak your
dance is full of power and energy and you are so flexible".
It's really nice when the most beautiful lady of the
country herself complimenting you.
These are some sweet, golden memories of my life which
i'll always cherish. I achieved a lot this this year.
I met SAROJ KHAN, TERRANCE LOUIS, and VAIBHAVI MERCHANT
in early 2005 during "DANCE DANCE". It was
a great experience to meet these choreographer but
my rendezuous with Prabhu Deva was the most memorable
moment because I wanted to meet him and I succeded.
